Silk, printed and square scarves

The silk scarves are the largest collection at Layl, in plain shades and printed designs. A silk scarf has a smooth finish and a soft sheen, holds a knot well, and can be worn at the neck, in the hair or over the head depending on how you fold it.

Printed scarves carry florals, abstracts and landscape prints. Square scarves come in a larger format that folds into a triangle for the head or knots neatly at the neck. If you only want one scarf, a square scarf is the most versatile shape.

Chiffon and sheila hijabs

For everyday wear, chiffon hijabs are light and semi-sheer, with an easy drape that suits work and evenings. The sheila and rectangle hijabs are cut long for the wrapped Gulf style many women wear in the UAE. Square hijabs fold into a triangle for a quicker, more structured hijab.

Pashmina and cashmere

UAE summers are hot, but offices, malls and cinemas run cold. A pashmina or a cashmere scarf is the layer for those spaces, and for the cooler evenings between November and February. Wear either as a wrap over the shoulders or looped at the neck.

Head, neck, hair and twilly styles

Some pieces are chosen for how they are worn rather than the fabric. Styles for the head and neck are sized for those jobs. Hair scarves and bandanas tie back hair or wrap a ponytail, and twillies are narrow strips for a bag handle, a wrist or a low bun. Delivery, payment and returns

Layl delivers across all seven emirates. Orders to Dubai and Abu Dhabi usually arrive in 1–3 business days, and orders to the other emirates in 2–4 business days. Delivery is free on orders over AED 200; below that, a flat AED 15 fee applies.

Every order can be paid by cash on delivery, so you pay nothing until it reaches your door.

If something is not right, you can return unused, unwashed items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. If that happens, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace or refund it at no extra cost.
